Music Timelines: 7th Grade Music Timeline

This will give you videos of your chosen artist. Choose Garnet Valley from the drop down menu and your username and password are the same as your computer login (if you were to login in the library for example). Click on the "G" then the middle school. Then simply search for your artist and see what you can find.

This should have information on pretty much anyone you want to search. It may not be much, but you will get some information. You can also copy and paste your citations from this page!

Check in the arts and music section to see if there is a video about the person or group you are researching. Remember that after the video there is a lot more information available.

Another online encyclopedia that should give you a little info on your chosen artist. Once you click, please note that in the top right corner you will see the words "web links". Click on that to find some really good websites about your artist as well!

This site is awesome. It's a specific Google search for music, so put in your composer and see what you can find.

When you get to this page, click on your time period and then look for your composer alphabetically for a list of their music where you can listen to it too!

Obviously not really unknown, but this page has information about those composers that maybe aren't as well known as Bach and Mozart. It might only be a small amount of information, but it's something. Just click on the letters to search alphabetically.
